ESTEY Style "T" Reed Organ

Estey of Brattleboro, Vermont USA built over a half million reed organs, including hundreds of these 2 manual instruments in various arrangements. The 10 rank Style “T” is one of their most popular versions.

This organ includes two 61 note manuals and 30 pedals. The ten ranks span 16’, 8’ and 4’. A single expression pedal operates swell shades. A fan tremolo provides a subtle musical enhancement.  The voices are sampled both straight and with the tremolo.

Natural releases of each note were recorded and included for the best possible realism. This is a “dry” sample set and requires either a large room or artificial reverb to make the best presentation. Studio processing includes seamless looping of each pipe sample (note by note,) and critical noise reduction artistry to reduce the rumble created by the blower.
